Twilight - A Review

I am probably the last person to finally read this (well, actually the friend that I gave this book to now is) but I wanted to talk about it here anyway. I am a huge vampire fan, so I didn't hesitate to pick up this book.

From the Amazon website:

"...When Bella Swan moves from sunny Phoenix to Forks, Washington, a damp and dreary town known for the most rainfall in the United States, to live with her dad, she isnt expecting to like it. But the level of hostility displayed by her standoffish high school biology lab partner, Edward Cullen, surprises her. After several strange interactions, his preternatural beauty, strength, and speed have her intrigued. Edward is just as fascinated with Bella, and their attraction to one another grows. As Bella discovers more about Edwards nature and his family, she is thrown headlong into a dangerous adventure that has her making a desperate sacrifice to save her one true love."

Here's What I Think

I loved this book!!! I could feel the attraction between Edward and Bella as I read the book. I couldn't put it down! As I said above, I love vampire stories and this is one of the better ones that I have read. It was also an easy read as these books are geared toward teens. I definitely recommend picking it up. This is the first book in the series (there are 4 total out). You can order it online or pick it up in your local store (I got mine at Wal Mart).

Sounds great - I hadn't heard of it, so you're not the last one to read it ;)

Your not the last! I really want to read it but I have about a gazillion other books on my shelf that I still haven't got to. At this rate I will get around to reading it in about 5 years. :-)

Uuuuh! I am so in the minority. I hated this book. I just couldn't get into it. I have decided however that there must be something wrong with me...everyone else LOVES it. Sigh.
